Hello all, I have had a bugger of a time getting X to work on my PB G3 |

Wallstreet model. Specs are 192 Meg RAM, running Gentoo and I have followed |

the online documentation, which was very good at getting me up and running |

so far. I have tried using Xeasyconfig to get my X server running. I get |
| 5 |
the GUI screen to configure my monitor, kbrd and screen rates. That works |
| 6 |
fine, the config file ends and I do the brave thing and test x out using |
| 7 |
StartX. This is where it gets fun, the screen goes from lack to white then |
| 8 |
fades out to black again. Then I get a screen of errors the most obvious |
| 9 |
being that the configuration ends as the mouse cant be found. I have been |
| 10 |
trying to get my trackpad going for a few days now as this seems to be the |
| 11 |
root of the problem. |

I notice at startup that there is a message that trackpad found at 4? no |
| 13 |
idea but it looks like a good thing. I will post the contents of my Xconfig |
| 14 |
file for everyone to look at, but are there any utilities to test and see if |
| 15 |
my mouse is indeed found and working so that I can start narrowing the |
| 16 |
possibilities? Is there a good resource for setting up X on PB g3's |
| 17 |
(OLDWORLD) that anyone can send to me? |
