I have been successful in making the internal modem of my iMac rev.B |

loading the macserial module and choosing as device ttyS0. But I can't |

hear any sound when it is establishing the connection, and it's a little |

annoying since I have always to check the system log to see if the |
| 6 |
connection has been established. Do anybody know a workaround for this? |

In alternative, is there any applet/application that can be used to |
| 8 |
monitor the modem status? |
