[gentoo-ppc-user] xinetd crashes after connection exits

Hi all,

I've asked this a couple of times and gotten no answer but I thought 
I'd give one more go at it.

I'm running xinetd and amanda on one of my servers.  amanda itself is 
working perfectly but xinetd seems to be having some problems.  I can 
connect once or twice to my amanda server which is started by xinetd.  
xinetd hangs after the second connection every time.  xinetd -d (debug) 
shows that the amanda server process exiting but xinetd crashes when 
trying to clean up the connection.  I've filed bug #42835 but I'm 
hoping there's something I'm missing.  I'm pretty sure this is an 
xinetd problem as opposed to an amanda problem - once xinetd crashes it 
starts chewing up CPU time like it's candy and can't be stopped unless 
I kill -9 it.  This is the ONLY thing stopping me from putting this 
server in to full production and I haven't been able to tackle it for 
months now.
