Hi all, |
2 |
|
3 |
I've asked this a couple of times and gotten no answer but I thought |
4 |
I'd give one more go at it. |
5 |
|
6 |
I'm running xinetd and amanda on one of my servers. amanda itself is |
7 |
working perfectly but xinetd seems to be having some problems. I can |
8 |
connect once or twice to my amanda server which is started by xinetd. |
9 |
xinetd hangs after the second connection every time. xinetd -d (debug) |
10 |
shows that the amanda server process exiting but xinetd crashes when |
11 |
trying to clean up the connection. I've filed bug #42835 but I'm |
12 |
hoping there's something I'm missing. I'm pretty sure this is an |
13 |
xinetd problem as opposed to an amanda problem - once xinetd crashes it |
14 |
starts chewing up CPU time like it's candy and can't be stopped unless |
15 |
I kill -9 it. This is the ONLY thing stopping me from putting this |
16 |
server in to full production and I haven't been able to tackle it for |
17 |
months now. |
18 |
|
19 |
Thanks in advance for any pointers anyone may have! |
