Has anyone been able to get a Radeon card to do dual monitor support? I'm using |
2 |
a 9000 Pro, so the driver is "radeon" in the XF86Config. I set everything up |
3 |
correctly, but I end up with one of three modes. The first is a mirrored mode |
4 |
between the monitors (when I use "UseFBDev" for both driver configs). The |
5 |
second is a good primary monitor that lets the mouse move between the monitors, |
6 |
but the secondary monitor is just garbage and any attempts to move windows on it |
7 |
cause it to loop around on the primary monitor. The third is actually Xinerama, |
8 |
but I have to turn off the "UseFBDev" option to get it to work, and the screens |
9 |
are configured correctly. The problem is that it's all tinted yellow. I'm |
10 |
using the xfree4.3.0 drivers from the ~ppc branch and the drm divers too. |
11 |
Should I try the 4.3.99 drivers? |

Oh, and does anyone know how to configure the V4L overlay in X properly? I'm |
14 |
getting a green and pink picture when I use overlay. If I turn off the module |
15 |
and use grabframe in xawtv instead it works, but I don't want my processor to be |
16 |
passing through the data cause it gets choppy when compiling stuff. |

Thanks. |
