I would like to expand this a bit. I would like the Council to take |

a preliminary vote on the EAPI 6 einstalldocs feature and its |
| 14 |
reference implementation [1]. |

Since, as ulm mentioned, we have a live issue here, I'd like to |

'backport' the feature from EAPI 6 to eutils.eclass in EAPIs 5 |
| 18 |
and older. For that reason, I'd like to have an early agreement on |
| 19 |
the implementation so that we could avoid diverging from it |
| 20 |
in EAPI 6. |
