If the java project is saying that Gentoo has some problem with java |

and they want the council to echo this, I'm sure the council will go |

along with it, but I also doubt that on its own doing so will change |

much. On the other hand, if there is some kind of conflict within |

Gentoo that is blocking progress that the java project is trying to |

make, that is probably something we could step in and help fix. |

I just want you to have the opportunity to generate |

discussion/proposals/etc before the meeting so that you're not stuck |

waiting another 4 weeks for the next meeting if nothing very |

actionable comes out of it. |
