That is something which I could get behind. This could even be implemented in |

Because other than that I don't trust QA at all to make disciplinary |

decisions based on policy. In the past, a package maintained by me has been |

on the receiving end of QA actions (in violation of tree removal policy) |

based on ad hoc made up rules[1]. After QA tried again for a second time[2], |

I had to ask Council to step in and put an end to this, which they did |

fortunately[3]. |

That was all a long while back, but I have seen similar tree removal policy |

violations on several packages after that by the QA team, so I don't think |

the situation has changed a lot. |
