in order to ensure the Gentoo security project is in a good standing |

in terms of GLEP:39 requirement of lead "selection must occur at least |
| 5 |
once every 12 months" going forward, a lead election was conducted on |
| 6 |
the project e-mail alias. This started on 5th Mar 2018. |

The candidates for the team lead were as follows: |

The voting period ended on 26th Mar 2018 with the following results: |

* 1 known abstains due to inaccessible GPG key material |

* 3 members didn't participate in the whole process |

As a result: |

ChrisADR and K_F were elected. Following project's election policy, |

"if multiple candidates have the same amount of votes, they become |

co-leads", both will share lead position. |

accordingly. |
