I would additionally like to ask Council to consider a three more items
for EAPI 6.

Specifically:

1. passing additional configure options (using the usual --help magic):

  a. --docdir: bug #173592 [1],

  b. --htmldir: bug #468202 [2],

  those pretty much follow the previously accepted doc
  install improvements. Ciaran had some doubts about passing --docdir
  but it seems that they were purely because of lack of --help check
  in Exherbo. Anyway, we'll do proper testing in Portage before the EAPI
  is finalized and we can revert those items if proven necessary.

2. additional default suffixes for dohtml: bug #423245 [3].

  I don't have a strong opinion on this one, just bringing it in line
  with other doc changes -- it would be easier do this now when we're
  changing a lot.

3. build-time switching variant of || (): bug #489458 [4].

  We need this for a long time and since we're going to need to rework
  || () logic within Portage anyway, EAPI 6 seems a perfect opportunity
  to finally fix this. The idea is that ||= () says that the package
  uses first package on the list that was installed during build-time,
  and needs rebuild every time you need to change the provider.
