TL;DR
=====

Council should help our devs and users, not stop them.

Ideals
======

- Individuals are the heart of Gentoo, we need more of them
- Share as much useful information as possible across the collaborators
- Gentoo must stay fun and easy to contribute to
- Hardware and software platform diversity makes Gentoo and FOSS community stronger
- Don't be a blocker for others' work or experiments on Gentoo

Projects
========

* haskell

  Currently I'm Gentoo haskell@ project lead. That includes
  handling the direction of haskell and GHC support in Gentoo.
  Large part of it is porting or maintaining ports of GHC to
  various architectures and flavours.

* minor arches support in Gentoo

  I occasionally try to help minor arch teams to find and
  fix bugs in non-haskell packages as well :).

Areas of interest
=================

Compiler internals, linkers, assemblers, minor and exotic ISAs, CPU emulators,
static and dynamic binary and source code analysers, linux kernel, networking,
haskell.

Linux background
================

Linux user since 2002.

Was a Linux From Scratch user for a few years.
Gentoo user since 2007, haskell overlay contributor in 2008 and a dev in 2010.

Education
=========

Barchelor of Science Degree in Computer Security, Radiophysicist in Belarusian State University.
