[HPC adoption]



The [Prefix](https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:Prefix) Project

published a [conference

proceeding](https://doi.org/10.1051/epjconf/202024505036) on a case

study of Gentoo in high energy physics.  Gentoo also sees wider adoption

in the HPC community such as [Compute

Canada](https://www.computecanada.ca) and

[EESSI](https://www.eessi-hpc.org).
