| Council members, |
| |
| After looking over the documentation I know about [1] [2] [3], I think |
| it is safe to Say we are prepared to move forward with stating that the |
| preparations for early boot mechanisms are complete. So, I am asking |
| the council to bring the following statement to a vote in the next |
| meeting: |
| |
| The Council agrees that all preparations for dropping support for |
| separate /usr without an initramfs or similar boot mechanism are |
| complete. |
| |
| If anyone reading this disagrees about the preparations being complete, |
| please file bugs and make them block the tracker [4] before the next |
| meeting. |
| |
| Thanks, |
| |
| William |
