to suggest the question of build log locales for discussion and decision. |

Basically: |

1) do we want to require english build logs in bugzilla (ie. non-english logs |

make a bug invalid)? |
| 7 |
2) do we want to make the build logs english by default (i.e. even if a locale |
| 8 |
is set globally, the user would have to install a second override in e.g. |
| 9 |
make.conf to obtain localized build logs)? |
| 10 |
3) if yes to 2), which locale? |
| 11 |

As for my personal opinion, |

1) yes |
| 14 |
2) yes |
| 15 |
3) don't care as long as it is english, and I consider any build system that |
| 16 |
fails depending on locale as br0ken and in need of fixing. |
