9 Having the kernel be more a part of the "stage3" would greatly cut down
10 setup time. Then it could be updated to gentoo-sources at a more
11 convenient time.

13 When setting up things like virtual machines it is usually a lot more
14 cumbersome working in the initial install environment. Once you can
15 reboot and ssh in more normally it is a lot easier to move forward. So,
16 getting the install to a point where it can boot and have network as
17 soon as possible should be a goal.
