To address https://bugs.gentoo.org/675494 mail-filter/spamassassin
needs to depend on some perl cpan packages[1] that aren't in the tree.
Can ebuilds depend on g-cpan packages, or do I need to generate the
ebuilds via g-cpan and get them added to the tree?

[1] Specifically GeoIP2::Reader::Database, which depends on
MaxMind::DB::Reader, and potentially MaxMind::DB::Reader::XS if end up
supporting the version that uses the libmaxminddb backed version (which
is said to be 100x faster) than the pure Perl version supplied by
MaxMind::DB::Reader).
