The current status is that Flameeyes and others have been doing some
good work with scanning the tree for issues.

For access to devmanual you can bug me, but you won't get access until
you start contributing.  If you have patches attached to bugs that I
didn't commit, please let me know and I'll push them on.  If you keep
contributing, then I'll make sure you get access so you can commit
things yourself.

I've actually started hacking on GPNL again, now that I have a much more 
reasonable and simplified goalset for it, things should move quickly.

Once the new one is live, I just need to trawl bugzilla for QA issues 
that can be easily queried and displayed.  Suggestions are also welcome.

diego's habit of documenting his work via his blog is especially valuable. 
perhaps some of that can be linked to from the official documentation to 
make it readily available to everybody.
