Frank, gentoo-releng is not really a help list, so I have replied off list. You need a later kernel than the one on the 2007.0 liveCD. The current gentoo-sources is fine, then set you kernel configuration as this post I wrote that in response to a Intel ICH7 question but it works for ICH6 chipsets and later. No patch is needed. - -- Regards, Roy Bamford (NeddySeagoon) a member of gentoo-ops forum-mods treecleaners -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHmxOxTE4/y7nJvasRAkNfAKDpRiAIz15P0nYZcs+lU0hEz6J6JgCgnPIW BEvxVoTpl0lOWtgLpCJ0XJs= =aU6V -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- gentoo-releng@l.g.o mailing list
