Hi,

I filed #226481. Maybe somebody is interested.

From the bug report:

I was looking for a software in gentoo to extract data points from
scientific plots, but couldn't find anything that had what I needed.

Digitizer has fancy image recognition, and g3data a handy looking
glass, but I wanted to extract points with error bars.

So here's an ebuild for xyscan, that does just that in a very focussed
way: extracting data points with optional (asymmetric) errors from
plots.

The software is mature, small and GPL-2. The only dependecy is
>=qt-4.3.0.
Cheers, Benjamin
