Hi all, |
2 |
|
3 |
I'm one of the developers of the xmds simulation program |
4 |
(http://www.xmds.org; used to solve differential equations, and |
5 |
applicable in a variety of fields) and would like to contact someone |
6 |
interested in packaging xmds to become part of Gentoo. The software |
7 |
is licensed under the GPL and is a sourceforge.net project |
8 |
(http://xmds.sf.net). It uses autoconf for configuration and |
9 |
installation so hopefully isn't too hard to package up, however I |
10 |
don't have much experience in doing this myself, so it would be great |
11 |
to find someone who can do this and is already a Gentoo developer. |
12 |
|
13 |
Whom should I contact? Is this the correct way to go about getting a |
14 |
new package into Gentoo while remaining an upstream author and not a |
15 |
package maintainer as such? It would be fantastic to have this |
16 |
program as part of Gentoo. |
17 |
|
18 |
Many thanks in advance for your help! |
19 |
|
20 |
Regards, |
21 |
|
22 |
