The biggest problem I noticed during two years of x86 service was |
8 |
stabling something like KDE or Gnome. KDE took about five hours (even |
9 |
with optimisations by doing repoman once locally before --force |
10 |
committing it to the tree), where people had broken trees after sync |
11 |
and complained loudly (including insults). We communicated the |
12 |
forthcoming stabilisation one week ahead via GWN, Planet and |
13 |
-announce...no help. So branching to KDE-3.5.10-stable, keywording all |
14 |
packages, merging back in one commit would really help. |
