Hi, |
2 |
|
3 |
I was just about to start another, really useless "whats the status" mail |
4 |
to gentoo-scm. Then it occured to me, that it may be more productive to |
5 |
create a git migration tracker bug, with a bug for each of the action |
6 |
items and investigations etc. attached. Perhaps that would give those |
7 |
interested in the current progress a better view of whats going on... |
8 |
|
9 |
Checking whether such a bug already existed i found |
10 |
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261380 |
11 |
which is about thin manifest when using git. |

robbat2 says to keep all discussions on this list, in order to not loose a |
16 |
picture of the broad view. |
17 |
Perhaps these two can both be implemented: keeping discussion on list, but |
18 |
statuses in bugs. |
19 |
|
20 |
What do people think? |
21 |
|
22 |
I have created a preliminary tracker bug at |
23 |
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333531 |
24 |
|
25 |
feel free to add bugs to it, if this is something you find usefull. if |
26 |
there are no (violent) objections, i would create corresponding child bugs |
27 |
with the issues covered so far some time tomorrow. |
28 |
thanks |

good night |
