1 Am I the only one that finds the newest changes to traceroute nothing but a
2 large inconvenience?

4 http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34477 states that it's a useless
5 security risk for a default install, however traceroute isn't even installed
6 by default for a Gentoo install.

8 As near as I can figure, if I install traceroute, I want to use it, not muck
9 with permissions or su - everytime I care to do some network analyzation.
