5 I just want to ask wether if it's necessary to modify /var/log/emerge.log's
6 uid and gid to portage after every emerge. The problem is that I want to
7 parse the log file as a normal user but I don't want to let the user emerge
8 packages.
9 I've found out that line 290-291 deals with u/gid modification in the emerge
10 script. Any ideas why is this needed?
