I just want to ask wether if it's necessary to modify /var/log/emerge.log's |

uid and gid to portage after every emerge. The problem is that I want to |

parse the log file as a normal user but I don't want to let the user emerge |

I've found out that line 290-291 deals with u/gid modification in the emerge |
