AsFarAsIKnow DHCP server (at least ISC one) test an ip before to assign |

it. There is another one I think dinamic DHCP but it need to be mounted |

on every box and do the same, test an ip and if it's free get it. |

So it's not usual that a dhcp assign an already assigned IP. ergo the |

problem must be that people put fixed ip over already assigned and "in |

use" dhcp ones. Well there is nothing that can help in this case . |

If your network is big you may want to isolate the problems in smaller |

networks putting a NATting firewall between pieces of your networks. |
