Hi, |
2 |
|
3 |
I have a postfix setup with virtual domains (courier + mysql) and |
4 |
everything works fine. |
5 |
Now I have to setup postfix to send emails from a especific domain |
6 |
(which have a specific ip alias) but the smtp hostname have to be |
7 |
informed as this specific domain too, like it: |
8 |
|
9 |
main domain: xyz.com |
10 |
virtual domain: xxx.com |
11 |
|
12 |
I did setup an ip alias at postfix machine and master.cf to enable |
13 |
smtpd listen on this specific ip alias, but if I try to connect to |
14 |
this ip alias on port 25, the identification that I get is the |
15 |
hostname of the main domain instead of the virtual domain. |
16 |
I think that the "myhostname" parameter is the responsible for that. |
17 |
I've looked at the virtual domain docummentations and also looked at |
18 |
all the main.cf parameters but I can't found a way to rewrite this |
19 |
identification with the virtual domain hostname. |
20 |
|
21 |
Is there a way to do it? Or I'll have to do an another postfix setup |
22 |
in other machine? |
23 |
|
24 |
Tks in advice, |
25 |
|
