Hi Bernd |
2 |
|
3 |
I have installed: |
4 |
|
5 |
net-fs/samba |
6 |
Available versions: 3.4.9!t ~3.5.6!t [M]~4.0.0_alpha11!m {acl |
7 |
addns ads aio avahi caps +client cluster cups debug doc dso examples fam |
8 |
gnutls ldap ldb +netapi pam +python quota +readline +server +smbclient |
9 |
smbsharemodes sqlite swat syslog threads +tools winbind} |
10 |
Installed versions: 3.4.9!t(12:18:58 17.09.2010)(client cups |
11 |
netapi pam quota readline server smbclient -acl -addns -ads -aio -avahi |
12 |
-caps -cluster -debug -doc -examples -fam -ldap -ldb -smbsharemodes |
13 |
-swat -syslog -winbind) |
14 |
|
15 |
|
16 |
There were no problems in the upgrade process but I have a simple samba |
17 |
server set up. I usualy simple do a emerge -DuN world every day (after |
18 |
snycing with eix-sync) and I have never lost any datas (since 2006). But |
19 |
anyway I recommend you to do a backup and to migrate first on a test-server. |
20 |
|
21 |
Cheers |
22 |
Christian |
