7 Thanks, Fred! I gave it a try when I was in the "I'll try anything"
8 phase of the troubleshooting. During boot I get a message about not
9 being able to provide net because the net service is already defined
10 blah blah blah. (It doesn't get through to dmesg and I can't recall
11 exactly what the message is but that's the gist.) No luck there.

13 That surprised me since I thought the provide keyword could be used by
14 any number of services that provide a virtual service. Maybe net is
15 different.
