7 No reason to be alarmed, linux libc headers are meant to be api stable

9 thats why 2.4 linux headers can be used with 2.6 kernels. The upgrade
10 to 2.6 headers introduced new features (for example before 2005.0 you
11 needed to emerge linux26-headers which has the needed api, to use nptl
