[gentoo-server] bug in smbclient?

made by my script (GPL licensed) (d: autofs,samba)
Attached script works fine when started from interactive shell but
when it is started via cron it does not "detect" all shares of
computers.
I findout that sometimes smbclient reports something like "faild to
connect to A-A" (after modyfying this script to see what do I get from
smbclient). Where "A-A" are some chars which looks like A-A on my
screen.
Is it bug in samba, perl, or is it my mistake in code?
