| 1 | I am having difficulty mounting a window share using cifs. I attached a log file with the errors |

| 4 | On my windows server I did the following trying to get it to work: |

| 6 | 1. created the share with r,w premissions |
| 7 | 2. turned off all firewalls |
| 8 | 3. turned off all anti-virus |
| 9 | |
| 10 | However, all of my windows clients were able to connect at step one. Am I missing something simple? |

| 12 | ~ # mount -t cifs //192.168.1.100/temp /mnt/arieltmp/ -o user=myusername,password=mypassword |
