My name is Shivam Gupta. I am final year undergraduate student at Samrat
Ashok Technological Institute persuing BE in Computer Science.

I was looking at the project list of GSoC 21 page. "New binary package
format" seems interesting to me.

But I found it is being implemented in
https://github.com/gentoo/portage/pull/562

Does the project is still available for this GSoC.
