Hi everyone, |
2 |
|
3 |
== Brief summary of this project == |
4 |
|
5 |
This project is a continuation of last year's project, "Automatically |
6 |
generated overlay of R packages". Its aims are extending overlay |
7 |
creation and, more importantly, automated overlay maintenance. |
8 |
|
9 |
For reference, the roverlay git repo can be found at [0], which also |
10 |
provides some documentation [1]. |
11 |
|
12 |
|
13 |
== progress from Aug 28 to Sep 4 == |
14 |
|
15 |
* added handling of file collisions (package files that exist in more |
16 |
than one repo, not necessarily with the same content) |
17 |
* improved dependency resolution: dependencies on other packages are |
18 |
looked up in the package's repo first (=search for dependencies of |
19 |
CRAN packages in CRAN first) |
20 |
|
21 |
|
22 |
== Plans for this week == |
23 |
|
24 |
I'm currently working on some minor tasks, e.g. pushing the overlay |
25 |
(/the overlay's changes) automatically to a git repo and cleaning up |
26 |
roverlay's ebuild. |
