You should be aware that the Gentoo Linux Installer project is no longer
under development. See
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/releng/installer/index.xml for more
information.

Any such installer is also highly unlikely to be included on the minimal
cd's, especially now they are automated. The minimal cd's have always
been just that, minimal. Many users like them this way and convincing
the developers to add packages requires a very good reason.

You may want to look at enhancing an existing project to perform this
task (such as the official replacement, Quickstart), or developing a
more generic installer project from scratch (altho I suspect this latter
suggestion may be a bit ambitious given the time frame involved).

The experiences of the GLI project have, in my opinion, shown that
supporting (any kind of) automated installation with Gentoo would be
very hit and miss. The type of install process you're talking about
would probably be served better by the generated cd's project to get a
disk with binary packages preloaded, then providing specific
configuration instructions (unofficial instructions are already
available on gentoo-wiki.com)

user, so you probably want to do your own investigations based on this
information)
