[gentoo-soc] [GSoC 2012] Introduction / libbash

Hi,

I'm André Aparício, student of Computer Science at Instituto Superior
Técnico in Portugal.

I use Gentoo as my main OS for more than 3 years, and I'm maintaining
about 20 Gentoo servers at my department of computer science and
engineering for about a year.

I would love to contribute something back to Gentoo, and GSOC seems to
be a great opportunity. I'm applying to the libbash project, and I've
already submit a patch to implement the read builtin, as suggested by
the project mentor.
