5 some people do just that. regardless given that git is the official
6 tool of the kernel, I don't see it getting less stable, losing
7 support, or going anwhere anytime soon. there are several other big
8 projects using it now as well. plus just because this gets done
9 doesn't mean you should have to use it. I think it should be optional.
