For your enlightenment in case you don't subscribe to the debian sparc 
list.  (SB1000(2x900) with kernel-2.6.13-rc4 runs very well, by the way.)

I thought, from comments by others in this group, that Ultra III support was still proving difficult as SUN were reluctant to release information abou t their "open" processor ? I know I keep getting the dreaded "Fast Data Access MMU Miss" error when I boot from the debian installer CD (SILO 1.49 I believe), but booting from a Gentoo CD with the same version of SILO works fine...
