Probier einfach mal:
echo "et 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss"
oder
echo "et.x86 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss"
Bei mir hatte es das Problem geloest, hatte ich ausserdem schonmal bei 
Quake3-Soundproblem in der Mailingliste gesagt ;)
