This isn't uncommon, I gather. I suffer from it too. It's a side effect of "blitting", I believe. Basically, the computer builds an image "offline" then blits it on to the screen. Normally it's seamless, but every now and then it's slow enough to notice. Same sort of thing as "tearing" - basically the computer can't/doesn't update the live video image fast enough for it not to be noticed. Cheers, Wol
