Another thing to consider, is the CPU or MoBo security chip crypto-processor.
On recent CPUs/MoBos this co-processor functionality will need to be switched
on at the BIOS menu and any associated modules in the OS kernel enabled.
Their functionality is necessary in generating and storing entropy in a timely
fashion.
