Subject: [gentoo-user] Installing "kde-frameworks/kguiaddons" from binhost
Date: Mon, 02 Dec 2024 13:29:27 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <674da828.050a0220.152026.5413@mx.google.com> (raw)

Greetings,

in order to speed-up the routine Gentoo updates of "@world" on my lap-
top I started to install packages I do not explicitly specify USE flags
for from the binhost. But this recently lead to a minor problem: while
versions 6.5.0-r1, 6.6.0 and 6.7.0 of this package installed from the
binhost without further ado, now version 6.7.0-r1 stubbornly insists on
being ebuilt, even if I explicitly specify the USE flags it was built a-
gainst in directory "package.use/" as

   kde-frameworks/kguiaddons X dbus wayland

Anybody having an idea what's going on here?

Sincerely,
  Rainer
