27 The guide deals with how to make X.Org use KMS. That does not mean that
28 KMS requires X. For your X-less machine, all you need to do is enable
29 the driver for your card in the kernel config, and make sure to also
30 enable KMS. You need to disable the VESA/uvesafb drivers to avoid
31 conflicts.
