11 I had this error through several iterations of ipw2200 and gentoo-sources.
12 It went away completely when I loaded genoo-sources-2.6.15. I am using
13 net-wireless/ipw2200-1.0.8-r1, net-wireless/ipw2200-firmware-2.4, and
14 net-wireless/ieee80211-1.1.6. I am not using the kernel modules.
