Subject:	[gentoo-user] Selecting "Shut Down" from the gnome menu sometimes shuts down the computer and other times just logs out.

1	I am currently using 64-Bit Gentoo and when shut down is selected from
2	the menu in gnome, sometimes the computer flickers to the login screen
3	then shuts down, other times it just shuts down. Why is it behaving
4	like this and how do I fix it?
