I don't buy the texture-from-pixmap explanation; I remember that with |

Beryl it was *orders* of magnitude more smooth than my i915. The |

problem is Compiz Fusion and/or the version of X.org. It *could* be |

the Nvidia drivers, but I doubt it. |
