Hello, |
2 |
3 |
4 |
5 |
I installed Gentoo Linux 2006.1 by a network installation from the minimal ISO CD. |
6 |
7 |
But my problem is that I don't find out how I could set a domainname for my machine? |
8 |
9 |
The hostname is set at: /etc/conf.d/hostname |
10 |
11 |
12 |
13 |
acmp5 conf.d # cat hostname |
14 |
15 |
# /etc/conf.d/hostname |
16 |
17 |
18 |
19 |
# Set to the hostname of this machine |
20 |
21 |
HOSTNAME="acmp5" |
22 |
23 |
24 |
25 |
But where I can set the domainname? |
26 |
27 |
28 |
29 |
When I type the domainname or dnsdomain command I get: |
30 |
31 |
acmp5 conf.d # domainname |
32 |
33 |
(none) |
34 |
35 |
acmp5 conf.d # dnsdomainname |
36 |
37 |
38 |
39 |
Does somebody knows how I could set it? |
40 |
41 |
42 |
43 |
Best regards, |
44 |
45 |
