1 I haven't done hot-plug with it, so cannot vouch for that working or not.
2 I use one of the ESATA ports to go to a 4x external drive enclosure (so
3 using FIS), with spinning disks that are solely for backups (zfs
4 send/receive of snapshots), and two of the internal ports for SSDs in a
5 zpool.
