23 You probably want to inherit either the qt3 or kde eclasses. They use `addwrite "${QTDIR}/etc/settings"` to avoid the sandbox violation. The Eclass HOWTO has some documentation on the kde eclasses: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/handbook/handbook.xml?part=2&chap=2
