28 Indeed GIMP still can't handle vector graphics. When you open a PDF file
29 with GIMP, you can choose the resolution (dpi) you wanna have. Then GIMP
30 imports the PDF file and converts it to bitmap format.

32 I never had problems with printing large bitmap graphics on any of my
33 printers (some HP, some Epson and one Lexmark printer) as long as I had
34 enough RAM. But I think this also depends on the printer driver.
