8 Portage probably left a dir names /var/db/pkg/games-fps/-MERGING-nexuiz-*.
9 Simply renaming that dir to remove the -MERGING- allows you to unmerge
10 whatever was already merged...

13 # mv -- {-MERGING-,}nexuiz-*
14 # emerge -Cva nexuiz
