Why doesn't equery actually show me all the installed packages? I
know I have lots of versions of kde installed, but equery doesn't show them:

# equery l -i kde
[ Searching for package 'kde' in all categories among: ]
* installed packages
[I--] [ ] kde-base/kde-env-3-r4 (0)
[I--] [ ] kde-base/kde-meta-3.4.1 (3.4)
# ls /usr/kde
3 3.1 3.2 3.3 3.4
#

Is there a utility which shows all the installed packages?
